The organization has been in practice since 1961, and it works tirelessly to advocate on behalf of the well-being of senior citizens. Its goal, which is closely aligned with ours, is to change the way society views aging and transform the senior healthcare industry.
National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care
MedBest works with the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care to ensure our candidates are equipped with the latest research, knowledge, and best practices for delivering quality senior care. This elite group of the healthcare industry’s movers and shakers provide valuable insight into the growth, expansion and other valuable cornerstones within the healthcare market.
Florida Healthcare Association (FHCA)
Our team attends the annual Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) conferences to continually improve upon our skills in the healthcare recruiting field. In addition, MedBest articles have been featured in their newsletter, PULSE, several times. The FHCA represents more than 1,000 nursing, short-term care, long term-care, and assisted living services. Under the FHCA our healthcare recruiters remain current on new regulations, and retain our Nursing Home Administer licenses.
Florida Senior Living Association (FSLA)
MedBest is a proud member of the Florida Senior Living Association (FSLA) which serves companies that operate professionally managed senior living communities offering independent, assisted living, and memory care services MedBest has been spotlighted in their Newsletter with hiring advice and employment articles. FSLA offers a variety of resources and opportunities for members and effectively represents members before the Florida Legislature, Governor’s Executive Agencies and other state and local entities where senior living policy is decided.

MedBest is a member of the LeadingAge Southeast, a premier association serving high quality senior living providers across the continuum of care in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. MedBest has been featured numerous times in their weekly newsletter with articles regarding hiring advice and workforce trends.
Oregon Health Care Association
MedBest is a proud member of the Oregon Health Care Association and has been featured in their CareNotes newsletter with our many blogs along with their membership directory. Founded in 1950, the Oregon Health Care Association (OHCA) improves the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by promoting quality long term care in Oregon. A nonprofit, OHCA is the largest long term care trade association in Oregon, representing more than 1,000 organizations and 90 percent of long term care providers in the state.
Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association
MedBest is a new member of the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association (PALA). PALA is a professional not-for-profit trade association representing Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Communities for-profit and not-for-profit that vary in size from small owners to large state and national corporations.
PALA’s membership allows for the recognition of different types of homes within the same industry to be represented by the only trade association dedicated exclusively to representing this very special residential care alternative. PALA provides a legislative voice in Harrisburg and our national affiliate- Argentum carries the concerns of our members to the Nation’s Capital. Our associations continue to uphold increasing the services and standards for operational excellence in Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Communities.

Virginia Assisted Living Association (VALA)
MedBest is a member of the Virginia Assisted Living Association. VALA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing advocacy, communication, education, and resources to the assisted living industry in Virginia. VALA is also the official state affiliate of Argentum. MedBest posts blogs regularly on VALA's Industry Blog Page.
Leading Age National Indiana Chapter
LeadingAge Indiana vision is to be the association of choice for human services organizations which provide services to persons in need, with a particular focus on the elderly. MedBest became a member of LeadingAge Indiana in 2020 and is proud to be a part of an organization that assists members to provide the highest quality of life for those they serve! MedBest is a member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), a leader in education opportunities for the search, recruiting, and staffing industry. NAPS affords recruiting professionals the opportunity to learn the best practices and keep up with changing regulations in the industry.
